As a former employee..........
I love working with children and love daycare work especially............ but working for this particular day care location.... turned my stomach. Now, to be fair, this was 5 years ago, but I will never forget it. The people were generally nice but the practiceswere atrocious. It made quite an impression on me because I had begun at the time of year inspections occured. We had to rearrange alot ofthings, cleanlike crazy and change our actual daily practice and behaviors... JUST WHILE THE INSPECTORS WERE THERE. During all this I learned how the daycare rules are supposed to govern cleanliness and policy and exactly how thisdaycare did not care and did their own thing. They put on a cute little show once a year and went back to their more comfortable, lacking, routine. After experiencing this I left the job and refuse to put my children in daycare myself.
