Kind and Knowledgeable, but not available as promised
This team of vets are very experienced and reasonably priced. My animal felt very comfortable there. The Drs were caring and seemed to understand my requests. The office was clean and neat. I learned that one of the Drs is well known for treating animals with back problems when I met a lady with a rescue sent to her from another state to see this Dr. I was disappointed when ofter 3 consultations and a phone call to let the Drs know my dog was in labor, when I called their alternate numbers MANY times after business hours that same day, I could not get an answer. A day or two later one of the team members called to check on the pups, but in my time of need the help I was promised was not available.

Great vet!
We have been taking out 4 cats here for years. The good thing about this vet is that they do low cost spays for animals adopted from cat welfare. We have had a few problems with communication from this vet, most notably when out cat was in for a week and almost died. But they are good kind hearted people. And a borther and sister team. I would recommend them.

good vet
We have 4 animals and had been taking them all to this vet. For the most part we have no complaints except it is hard to get a hold of them after hours in an emergency. The prices are reasonable and they are gentle. The facility is always clean which is also a bonus. After moving wish we would have stayed closer to this vet.

Professional and Caring
I have been taking my dogs to Doctors Nelson for over 16 years. I have found them and the office staff to be professional and caring over the years. My dogs even love them! They hand-held me through an illness with an elderly dog that was eventually put down. As for those doctors being accessible, I have found them late at night to talk me through an unexpected arrival of puppies. Their prices are reasonable and I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you!

Worst experience ever! This place is horrible...not compassionate at all! Rude, mean, evil, no kindness, much like a bad nightmare. If your going to be a vet. it should be required to have some kindness in your heart. I had the worst experience ever.....please do NOT take your family members here..!!!! I had to make a very tough decsion and the so called doctor was hateful mean non-supported and down right rude. I pray God gives her the kindness and compassion she should have to deal with peoples pets who are part of their family.

first class staff and care
I'm surprised at the experience that the one reviewer had. We've taken our pets here for 30 years and have never been disappointed in their care or in the professionalism of the vets. When our one cat was dying, Dr. Kathy took her home with her after meeting me at the hospital on a snowy evening at 7 pm--she drove back from home on bad roads. Even though we moved 13 years ago to the NW side of town, we still come here for their health care.Worldwide > United States > Columbus, OH > Veterinarians
