AMAZING FACIALS
My husband got me a gift certificate here for my birthday. I got a facial, a massage, and some waxing done. It was simply unbelievable. I pretty much sampled all of their services and it was one of the best experiences I have had at a spa. Everyone was friendly. I took the recommendations from my facial and bought the products. My skin has never been better. I can not wait to go back. I have been to many other spas and this one was by far the best. Professional and very friendly!

Highly Recommended Spa!
Ahhhhhh.... what a lovely experience!
I received, and thoroughly enjoyed, a facial and massage. All of the treatments were so relaxing and my skin looked gorgeous afterwards. Everything about this spa was "just right" and I floated right out the door (after booking another appointment, of course!).

Simply the best salon in LA
Everyone should give a try to Skinworks. It's so far the best salon I've been in LA. The owner Miri is very friendly and professional. You won't be disappointed!!

Best facial EVER!
I was recommended to come in, my complexion needed help! I just moved to LA a little while back and I was lost, not knowing who to turn to. I had some "bad" facials in the past and truthfully, I was concerned.
Right upon my arrival to Miri's, I felt at ease, it is really a pretty down to earth place. They were busy, but I felt I could trust the quality of work that I was there to get.
I must say, I LOVED MY FACIAL!!
My skin is in good hands. I am recommending whoever needs a facial, go to see Miri!

You skillfully took care of all the issues that I brought up, and I was so nervous because I was just a few days prior to a photo shoot!

Loved our gift certificates!
Our office treated us (as a wedding gift) to a series of facials at Miri Mandel's.
We were so delighted.
It has now been two facials for each of us, and we have two more to go!
We love coming in. Thanks to you ladies! You take such nice care of us!
The best thing to do when you're tired, and it's so down to earth, feels like home.

My new place for waxing!
I've been reading all the reviews and decided to give it a try. I went for waxing, it's amazing. Miri really knows what she's doing, almost painless! I'm thrilled with the results, the price, and the excellent service. The salon is clean and nice, extremely affordable and Miri is are very friendly!

The best waxing I've ever got!
I had great anticipation for my first wax, having heard horror stories, but to my surprise I was in absolutely no pain under Miri's gentle and efficient care. She made me very comfortable. Miri' s friendly demeanor had us talking through the whole procedure completely taking my mind off the waxing. Before I knew it the hair was gone and I was grinning in front of her large mirror at the sight of my now smooth back and shoulders. Thanks Miri

I just moved here (to Hollywood), saw the sign, looked it up and was impressed by all the wonderful reviews. Decided to try it out...

Incredible facials and waxing!
If you are looking for a place to go get pampered or maybe to send your sweetie to get pampered, Skinworks is the place to go by far in Los Angeles. I went & had the best facial expierence I have ever had. Peaceful & welcoming from the minute you step in the door. It is amazing. Then you are whisked away to be pampered. Miri has magic hands. Oh my I felt in heaven. I ddnt want to leave. All in all, the best place in Los Angeles, I will be sharing several of the business cards I picked up with my firends & will be going back again soon. Rate 12 out of 10!

Best skin care ever
Miri gives absolutely the best facial ever! It is so relaxing in her beautiful salon with the lovely music to help you relax and make your cares go away. The bed is especially comfortable, too. I'm in heaven when I'm there. She is an expert in her field and takes the time to make you feel extra special. Being an expert, she knows exactly what your skin needs and only recommends what is best for you. There is no one better at what she does.

fantastic facial
As a very busy and hard working professional (which I am), I constantly seek comforting retreats for my energy re-building and for my skin rejuvenation (my face is the first thing my patients look at...).
I found these at Miri's Skinworks. Easy going, comforting, quiet, intimate, and a fantastic facial. Really answers all my wishes.
It's one of my favorite places! I try to make it in every few weeks.

Some heaven in LA!!
Absolutely exceeded all expectations! Very relaxing, everyone was SO FRIENDLY! Miri was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me without me even asking! I have been to many spas, and if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, friendly atmosphere that's not at all stuffy, please visit this spa, you will not be disappointed! I absolutely will return and am so glad to have found such a sweet little oasis. :)

Wonderful salon!!
Such a great experience! It's SO pretty & clean, smells REALLY good, and everyone was SUPER nice & friendly - I felt very comfortable and at ease. I had the best facial EVER! I didn't want to leave ... can't wait until my next appointment. I'd definitely recommend this salon!

Best facial I ever tried!!!!
I'll be honest at first. I wasn't to thrilled when my girlfriend surprised me with a visit to a spa. The closest thing to a spa that I've ever been to has to be the skin care section of Walgreen's. But when I walked into the spa I knew this was no Walgreen's... it wasn't even close. I was greeted with smiling faces and nice fragrances that immediately made me feel at ease. Soon after my girlfriend had a nice long talk with Miri, I was taken to room where my treatment began. I can't tell you exactly what she did (partly because I fell into a blissful sleep after about five minutes), but by the time I walked out, my face felt fresh and rejuvenated. The next day I couldn't stop looking at my skin in the mirror because it looked like I had stole the skin from a baby angel! I highly recommend this place to anyone who has never had a facial AND to people who have. (my girlfriend is a regular there).

I love this place!

My experience at Skinworks was absolutely wondeful!!!! The decor is very zen, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. Miri is so nice and helpful with all of my annoying questions. I'm so happy I finally found one beauty salon I can go to for everything.

I bought 5 gift certificates for the ladies in my family!
I just started to come to Miri's Skinworks, saw all the "buzz" and decided to check it out. I live in Beverly Hills, not too far from the place.
I like it a lot, very comfortable, easy going, excellent facial and waxing!

Tired? Miri's Skinworks is the answer...
Whenever I feel run down, tired, my skin dull, and I have no energy, i book a facial and sometimes a massage as well at Miri's. I get a nice energy boost by doing that. The facials are extremely relaxing, and I normally fall asleep. The place is quiet and they try extra hard to have you rest peacefully.
I love to go there and I look and feel good after I get a facial. I buy series and go quite frequently so the price is always very reasonable.
I also get my qaxing done there.

professional but not stuffy
The whole crew, everyone I met until now is excellent at this nice, quaint little salon off the beaten path, across from CBS in the "grove" area. They are all pleasant, trying to please and mainly, they know how to work well and very efficiently. Time isn't being wasted there, it's running well like a well greased machine... I watch Miri the owner work quietly but so fast, it's quite impressive.
I like this place very very much, You can call me a regular. I can't see not wanting to be one.
Life is complicated and busy enough. I like to make things easier, this place makes things easier.
I hope for many more years. It's been around 24 years already!

A really pleasant place!
If you are looking for a respite from the day to day, Miri Mandel Skinworks is the place for you. I've lived in the area for years, and finally made an appointment after seeing Miri on ABC news and seeing that she won the editorial review for Best Affordable Spa on Citysearch. With the economy in the tank these days, we can all use a little break on the wallet!
Miri's place is so warm, and she is really the icing on the cake. She is like an instant friend - someone you can be really honest with. It's so refreshing! Her facial is so therapeutic and wonderful, and the staff are so kind and really aim to please.
I highly recommend Skinworks to everyone out there looking for a really wonderful treatment.
