I'm assuming the primary operator of this particular liquor store located at 1776 G Street is the owner. I believe his name is Kim. He's very nice and personable. He greets you by saying, "hi!" I usually buy lottery tickets and he always says, "good luck!" I really like that. His wife is NOT so personable on the other hand! I think this has a lot to do with her lack of proficiency in speaking and understanding English well! She's NOT very friendly at all! I don't like her processing my lottery tickets, or "ringing up" my purchases at the cash register! If she's on duty at the cash register, I just don't buy ANYTHING!! I go elsewhere! It's happened several times when I've tried to tell her that I'm not finished selecting items when I place a few on the counter; indicating I'm going to add more, so DON'T start ringing them up! She starts ringing them up RIGHT AWAY!!! This "ties-up" that register and holds other customers up. Kim, on the other hand, understands and pushes the items to the side. The little guy that cleans the floors inside and cleans outside could also take a few lessons in customer relations. Maybe it's cultural thing?? Tell them to adopt "The American Way"!!! A satisfied and happy customer is also a customer that will return often!!! Thanks for listening!
