Mckenna Kennels

McKenna kennels is clean and well kept. The kennels the dogs are kept in were good sized and had a heated dog house and were covered. The staff was friendly and helpful, and answered all my questions. Our dog was well cared for.

Their daily rates are reasonable, but they tack on an extra charge for everything! Its $3 extra a day to have you dog exercised, and (this is the one that blew me away) $2 extra per day if you bring your own dog food!! That doesnt even make sense! They offered to bathe our dog for $15, which I felt was reasonable, and told them to go for it. However, when I picked him up they had not bathed him, but they didnt charge me for a bath so it wasnt a big deal.

Overall they are a good option if you need a place to keep your dog for the weekend, but longer than that it would get expensive!

PROS: Clean, nice facility, friendly staff
CONS: Extra fees for things that should be standard.
