I love this place!

Every time I go to Little 5 Points, I have to grab a bite at Corner Tavern. They have a very cool atmosphere and the servers have awesome personalities. On top of the atmosphere and service, the food is phenomenal! The chicken pesto sandwich is my favorite and my boyfriend is in love with the Ham and Cheddar deli sandwich! Corner Tavern also has salads, burgers, and dinner entrees, such as shrimp and scallop pasta, oriental chicken, steaks, salmon, etc. They also have great sides, soups, and appetisers if you are not in the mood for a large meal.

Whats that star for

so the first time i stumbled into the place was when i went to see a world cup game at brew house cafe. Sure you could sit down if you got there four hours early but it was so packed you couldnt drink or enjoy it. so we walked across the street into this spot. good food, good beer, and good service made it a perfect spot for a pint and some soccar.

Late nights only

My date got a burger undercooked but somehow it took them an half-hour to do it. I got a chicken sandwich dry but at least not undercooked. The fries were passable. Our two companions got a salad each other than the brown lettuce they seemed to enjoy it. Overall the atmosphere was laidback it didn't seem to get two busy our server was very apologetic and efficient (Erin I believe her name was) The drinks were delicious and not too pricey but the food was not worth the price. A good late night place maybe but not for dining.

Great Salad

The Buffalo Shrimp salad is the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!! IIt is very fullfilling and everything was fresh!!! The croutons are huge and homemade!!! I told the waitress to give me a refill and she thought she heard a refill for myself and my friend so she brought to sodas to the table. And I'm like no I just wanted one for me and she 's lke well I still have to charge you ..she gave major attitude.

NOT RECOMMENDED - 3RD TIME

We tried the place three times to give it the benefit of the doubt and always had terribly slow & rude servers, cold food that took forever to come out, over-priced drinks and a stale atmosphere. Little Five would be a better place without this so-called Tavern.

And by the way, I've written the same review THREE TIMES and they keep erasing it. I wonder how many other criticsms have been ERASED?????

This place deserves a ZERO just because they can't own up to some criticsm. City Search should really do something about this.

Yum and Atmosphere basicaly describe it

The Corner Tavern has unusual and interesting food offerings---not your typical bar and grill fare. I think the cooks really ought to be called "chefs", and not in the least for the daily inventive cuisine specials! Personal favorites from the regular menu are: the Black Bean Burger (they've made it more tasty than any "real" burger I've ever had), the wonderful Tomato Basil soup, and the Hawaiian Chicken Salad---grilled chicken with awesome greens, grilled pineapple, and other fresh salad veggies... have the House Vinegrette for the very best taste!

Many like the New York style fresh french fries---I personally don't care for them, but find their onion rings a great substitute for a side. As for the atmosphere... it's a laid-back, eclectic pub: not a rave date-hunting spot, but rather a place where you can relax, have fun, and be thoroughly welcomed by the friendly staff and weathered-but-retro surroundings. Honorable mention to the fact that they offer some unusual drinks, including Smithwick's (one of the finest red beers I've ever had, and very hard to find, even in liquor shops). If you want a date-hopping bar, try somewhere else---if you want your local pub where everyone hangs out to have fun, try here.

Atlanta Staple

Regardless of what melmelcoolj and other snooty OTP (Outside the Perimeter) suburbanites with which Atlanta is rather unfortunately plagued may believe about the function of a TAVERN such as Corner TAVERN, this is a great place to grab a beer or twelve at nearly any time of the day or night. The bartenders are knowledgeable and make drinks like they're supposed to be made. The beer menu is extensive and offers selections from all types of beer, usually from the best breweries for those beers. The food, though a SECONDARY factor for a TAVERN, is quite delicious, with many of your bar food favorites and some dishes fit for more complex pallets.

Highly recommended spot for drinkers and seekers of fun.
Not recommended for OTP families.

Home in L5P.

BEST Corner Tavern for sure. The people that work there always feel like friends if you know them or not.
Amazing food and a nice chill place to hang.
Two thumbs up!

Thieves!

Stay away from Corner Tavern unless you like getting ripped off. I just found out this week that the tips go to the restaurant owner and not the servers.
Yes, you may pay the same amount, but it's still unethical. 100% of the tip money should go to the servers. If the restaurant is not making enough money, they should be upfront about it and charge more - not be sneaky and steal your money.
