Multiple installation issues
Kolar installed my A/C (2 units) in a new house approximately 3 1/2 years ago. Within a few months the freon was low in one unit and had to be refilled. This spring, we discovered that both units had completely leaked out all the freon. When I contacted Kolar after the discovering the issue with the second unit he was combative and did not want to consider that the problem was based on poor installation. Subsequently we had another service dealer visit us who confirmed that neither unit had been installed correctly causing the freon to leak out slowly since we moved into the house. So, we've had to have leaks repaired now on both units and a complete refill of freon. If Kolar had been willing to accept responsibility and correct the problem I would have understood. But for us to be burdened with the cost of repairs and refills for both units is unacceptable.

I'm sorry, but I cannot identify the reviewer who had installation issues with my company, but I can tell you that we have always stood by the work that we do, and I can unequivocably state that if there is an issue with the original installation (assuming we actually did the installation as I do not recall the phone conversation referenced in his review), we would be more than happy to take care of the problem as we would for any customer. I have been in business for 25 years and have built a strong reputation in the Downers Grove/Naperville area. Please don't put too much stock in one man's review of my company.

Kolar does not stand behind his work!
I bought a home where Kolar performed the initial installation. The workmanship was extremely poor and I am not sure how it passed a city inspection.

SCAM ARTIST
This guy was the subcontractor who outfitted my home. I've had problems with heating, air conditioning, plumbing since I've been there every three months (that is not an exaggeration!). This guy (the owner) is rude on the telephone. He needs to get into some anger management classes and some customer service courses! Please stay away from this company!
