Top of the Line, and That's No Yarn

Knit Wits has a wide selection of yarns and a great staff to go along with them. There you can find a variety of specialty yarns in virtually color you can think of, and they're all arranged in an attractive display for you to browse through. They also offer classes for those wanting to learn a new skill or brush up on an old one.

The shop is a little cramped, so if you have small children with you when you shop you may want to plan a trip without them. But I took my 3 and 5 year old with me with no problems at all. The staff was very friendly while I browsed and very tolerant of the kids' questions on what everything was. I also found the yarn to be a bit on the pricey side. To make smaller items, like scarves and hats, these are fine. But I wouldn't plan on making a throw for my living room with them.

Overall it's a fantastic shop with a good product and great service.

PROS: wide selection, friendly staff
CONS: pricey, can be difficult getting in and out of parking lot.
