Make the drive!

John's is one of the best kept secrets in Atlanta. You won't find better country food except maybe on your mamma's table. Get there early before the banana pudding runs out! I've never tasted anything bad here. It's worth the drive to Forest Park. Also, the nicest people work there. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular!

Good Food

I like the food at John's Fine Food. It's always fresh. My only complaint is about their mac & cheese. It's really cheesy, but it's not really flavorful. It's bland. so i don't order it anymore. My favorite is the chicken fried steak or meatloaf, and rice. And DO NOT forget the gravy.

Great Soul Food

I love this place. Probably could use more marketing because I know whoever is readindg this would love this place too! Its the only place I know where I can get turkey and dressing with cranberry sauce year round. And not the part of the turkey that you get if you are the last one at the table on Thanksgiving but the good peices like the turkey breast. Its Delicious and dont forget the Desert!!!

Good Home cooking

Johns FF is a great little "hole in the wall" resturant. Best deal for the dollar. Large portions of good ole' southern cooking. Two or three items could be better with a little seasoning, especially the ribs. For smoked ribs, thier's are kinda bland.
Service could use a bit of pepping up.
But over all, a good place to eat. I would recomend Johns Fine Foods.
