Avoid living under J Arthur properties. Therefore, avoid living in the disgusting rundown gateway apartments @ 148 E. William st. I use to live there and hated it. The apartments and complex are ill maintained, and management fails to accommodate your needs. I had a bee hive in my bathroom and constantly would find dead bees in my light fixture and bees flying in my bedroom. I would find bees leaking daily thru the bathroom vent and light fixture. furthermore they have the worst case of bed bugs and roaches, even though we kept the apartment clean nothing changed. Management was constantly having to spray and at times failed to show up to spray, so prepare to be chewed up. To put the cherry on top the landlord doesn't give you back your deposit! deposits are $1200.00! you have to take J Arthur to court just to squeeze your deposit out of his ass! If you wish to avoid poor living conditions and having your deposit returned don't live here!
