Hollywood Feed Treats Customers Like Stars
Sales people at Hollywood Feed take the time to give the best service.
I called at 6:45 and asked what time they close. After the woman told me seven, I said, "I don't know if I can make it that fast."
She said, "We'll wait."
Luckily I arrived before seven and didn't make them wait on me. Excellent service and knowledge about dog food too.

competitive price, good service
I have found Hollywood Pet Star to have the cat food I use (Science Diet chicken) at a price comparable to other local pet stores. Unlike the big chain stores, they are not regularly out of stock and you do not have to search for a cashier. I have found the staff to be helpful and prompt. I have been shopping at this store for about two years. They do not have a good selection of kitty litter, but that is easy to pick up at Target or Kroger.

Everyting is overpriced
If you purchase pet supplies, I would recommend staying away from Hollywood Pet Star unless you do not mind paying three times more for an item than at other pet stores.
Example: I purchased an Aquarium Pump (Penn Plax AT-2K5) for $35.35 only to find out that the same pump is available everywhere else for around $10 dollars.
I have compared their prices to that of other stores on pet supplies and in every instance Hollywood Pet Star was more expensive/
Shop elsewhere and save yourself some money!
