The doctors at Hawaii Women’s Healthcare — located in the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu — offer comprehensive care to women throughout every stage of their lives. In 1997, Cheryl Lynn Tanguilig Rudy, MD, and Cheryl Leialoha, MD, founded Hawaii Women’s Healthcare. Erin Gertz, MD, and Laura Spector, DO, joined the practice in 2015, followed by nurse practitioner Andrea Wieland, APRN, in 2017, giving the practice a combined 50 years of medical experience.
Hawaii Women’s Healthcare offers medical care for obstetrics and gynecology needs, including family planning, birth control, menstrual or menopausal management, annual exams, and abnormal Pap smears. The practice also offers technically advanced care with loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), hysteroscopy, NovaSure® endometrial ablation, MonaLisa Touch® vaginal laser therapy, and SculpSure® aesthetic solutions.
