Great Experience So Far...
I have been going to Glow for laser hair treatments for about a year now. I just completed my 5th treatment and I have been quite satisfied with the service and the staff. Saima always makes sure that I am comfortable during the treatments. I purchased the service when they offered a special through Groupon, and I am so glad I did.

Very Professional but Friendly too!
I have been going to Glow for several months and have had 3 treatments in 3 areas so far.. I have appreciated the professionalism that I have been shown, along with the friendly staff. The experience all together, has been a pleasant one. Although, I drive an hour to get to the salon, it has been well worth it!!!

Unable to handle volume of online deals
I signed up for laser hair removal, which should be spaced out every 5-6 weeks. However, the salon has run so many specials lately that they can't handle the volume and are now booking be every 2-3 months.

Great Experience @ Glow
I am very happy with my results with hair removal at Glow. I have had 4 sessions on my underarms and the results so far have been great. Hopefully i will be able to start my legs once the summer is over. I am actually surprised that people have written negative reviews. I've personally never had a problem getting thru on the phone or getting an appointment. The staff have always been friendly and were even nice enough to play with my 5 year old daughter for a few minutes while i was in the back getting my session. Thanks Glow!

Not Great
Indifferent staff and impossible to schedule as they seem to have run way too many specials. Can't get through on the phone, and when you can, they put you on hold for a very long time - so long I hung up.

Rude
I have been in the salon 2 times since I work down the street to look for hair products. The ladies in the salon are rude, indifferent as the Argyletraveler says, and quite snobby attitudes. I bought a Bumble and Bumble shampoo from them which I later on regretted spending my money in there because of the staff. I went in yesterday looking for a shampoo that is called Unite, usually runs about 24 dollars, more expensive then what they carry in their salon. One of the girls there told me well, we just have what we have and that is it with an attitude. I will never go back into their salon. I do not know if they look at customers to see how they are dressed to talk to them differently or not. I was just wearing capris and a shirt so not sure what to think but they are very snobby. I also do laser treatments and go to Smooth Solutions. They are really nice in Lewisville location. If you want an awesome hair color I would recommend Muse Salon on Knox Henderson and 75. See a girl name Katy. She was nominted Best of D for hair color a while back. Really sweet.

Bad Laser Hair Removal but Pretty Spa
My husband purchased Laser Hair Removal packages for me as a gift from Glow Spa. I wish I could get a refund! I am getting Brazilian(full bikini) treatments and underarms. The laser the Spa uses is sub par and the technician is not very thorough. The laser tends to leave little circles and the technician has to be reminded to get all the areas. Full Brazilian means everything front to back and includes your bikini line (usually 2 or 3 fingers from where leg meets interior hip socket). This past treatment the technician didn't even get the line. I had to remind her. She seemed to be in a rush. I have had 2 technicians (one is supposedly the owner) and both do the same results. The only reason i feel i can comment on the laser and thoroughness of the technician is bc i opted to purchase packages at other Med Spas and have had excellent results! I am currently going to Renew Spa at Northpark and CiruGuia in Dallas off of Central Expressway. The lasers used are sooo much better at both of these places. The one at Renew has a cooling feature so that your skin doesn't get as irritated. The technician assigned to me was also wonderful. She didn't seem to skip areas and went back over some spots that had more hair growth. After just 1 treatment at Renew I already show results! Its wonderful. CiruGuia uses a dif laser as well. They apply a cooling gel to the area so as not irritate the skin and again the technician was very thorough. If you are looking for Groupon laser specials, I advise you to STAY AWAY FROM GLOW SPA! Both CiruGuia and Renew were featured on Groupon and offer better lasers and much better technicians. After writing this review I am determined to see if I can get a prorated refund for my unused treatments at Glow Spa. It's not worth my time and money to keep going for laser treatments when I'm not getting good results!!! Don't be fooled by the pretty spa. Yes Glow Spa has a nice sitting area, pretty clothes/accessories, and clean facilities, but if your goal is laser hair removal go to another MedSpa. Now that I have tried other spas I can honestly say that this Spa is sub par!

Great Salon and Spa
I bought a few groupons and have been going to Glow since March of last year. I have been nothing but thrilled with my services there. The staff has always been friendly and the salon is a very clean, relaxing atmosphere. I am very happy with the laser machine that they have and it doesn't seem to hurt as much as the others. I have been doing my underarms and lower legs and do plan on buying more treatments when i'm done since they offer their clients very good pricing on laser. The techs are very thorough and make sure i am comfortable the entire time. It does seem to me that some of the "review"s on this site seem to be advertisements for "other"centers so i would be very skeptical on them. Like i said , i have seen great results and and so have my co-workers and we would all highly recommend Glow for laser. The only negative is i can't resist buying a dress every time i go in!

GLOW-ing from ear to ear!
I just moved to the area and noticed Glow as I was driving down MacArthur. I stopped in due to a desperate need of new haircut and style. They were able to accomidate me immediatly and Brenda was my stylist. She was very professional and funny. She gave me a great trim and blow out. I was also impressed that the salon has a boutique side with cute dresses and jewlery at a great price.
