KEEP IT UP

So what to said about the new things that they do for there home. I just walk in the nursing home last week and one of the resident came up to me talkin about the activity dept. How they have so many new things in there programs. The main one is about gettin reward's at the ends of the month. so keep up the GOOD WORK that u guys are doing.

Glen Elston Nursing & Rehab is a good nursing home

Recently I toured this nursing facility,I was looking for a place for my mom close to my house.I toured this place because it was ranked as 4 stars by the state. The place looked very clean and staff appears pleasant.I feel very comfortable right away so I place my mom there

GLENELSTON IS GREAT!

Wonderful Facility! I have two family members at GlenElston, and the staff is GREAT! They are kept clean and busy with wonderful activities. For example, they are participating in the labor BBQ this weekend, and loved the patio fest party that they had a few weeks ago. There was live entertainment, and exciting raffles.

The staff is very active in making sure that all of the residents are well taken care of! One of the best nursing home facilities in the state! I wouldnt put my grandma and grandpa anywhere else!

Glen Elston Nursing & Rehab is not a loving place

I speak on behalf of the residents and the CNA staff. This facility is not a facility that takes the time out to better patient care. The only time administration, Don and Adon follow procedures is when there is an inspection. They are very unsanitary. They have an Adon named Vivian Inglesby that is beyond rude, she has a lot of growing up to do, she is very disrespectful with the residents and CNA staff, shes degrading and a RACIST! Through the years of me working here she has been nothing but trouble since they allowed here back threw the doors of Glen Elston. She has been fired and rehired several times. She has slammed doors on residents and staff, stalked the facility building while being unemployed here. She has made negative and intimidating gestures towards staff and patients. I hope the right person comes along and disciplines this lady as needed. She has no business being a nurse. There is no patient confidentiality. Patients are degraded and talked about by her. So

not a safe place

The patients go out and buy and buy drinks and come back and want to fight. they share rooms with helpless patient half can't talk they steal from the patients they put the patients and the staff at risk and adminstration only does something if a law suite appears and they don't have any activitys cause the boss is to busy sleeping with the director and so our the to lesbo so called nursing directors

It Not All Peas and Carrots

Putting your family member in a nursing home is a thing your never be comfortable with because it not like home. Some adjusting is away needed. No Nursing Home is perfect. Glen Elston is in a turn around faze, and the staff such as the CNA's, LPNS, RN'S, Front Office Crew (excluding VIVIAN), and Dietary, do their best to make Glen Elston A home away from home. It not the easiest thing to deal with different emotion, and feelings everyday. Maybe that why you put your love ones there in the first place. Also, maybe we run short staff at times, But we do the best with what we got. And if everybody work together we can make our effort just that much better.

DON'T BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

I have a parent that made it to this place. Until I found out they let patients lay in their waste for hours on end. Want to know why the facility smells? I am in the process of filing a complaint with the state. Charley the administrator was fired due to her care of the patients. Nothing has changed though. They just wait for the patients to die. No rehab is ever given and the activities are a joke. These are humans, not animals!

Please choose somewhere else. My parent was here because of a lack of insurance. I've found other nice places now.
