Failed to deliver goods and services

On 8 September, 2007 Expert Auto Center supposedly replaced my ignition cables. On 26 January, 2008 my car died during a long trip. I performed a visual inspection of the ignition cables and discovered them to be much older than 4-1/2 months. I am retired from the USAF and have 20 years experience as a mechanic.

My vehicle was towed to a garage and I was informed the ignition coil and ignition cables needed replacing. I told the manager they were supposedly replaced a few months ago. He replied they were obviously much older than a few months, which is what I expected.

On 31 January, 2008 I returned to Expert Auto Repair, presented the old ignition cables to the manager and explained the situation. The manager was uncooperative and stated he could prove with a receipt that new cables were ordered for the vehicle and demanded an apology. I did not ask to see the receipt, because it does not prove the cables were actually installed.

Don't go here!

They have another location on Desert Inn in Las Vegas. They have screwed me and screwed me and now I am just done. I think because I am a woman, they can keep telling me different things about what is wrong with my car! And after 4 appointments, my car still isn't fixed!!! These owners (this shop and the one on Boulder Hwy) are related. I spoke with one of the sons who told me. All I can say is, if one family member acts this way, then the other must too. Don't go here!

I Don't Recommend This Place, At All.

Oh my goodness, I feel the exact same way! Mike, the manager, should not be a manager. Needs to take an ethics class, and manners while he's at it. And my car has not been running the same since I took it there.

Oil change only I'd say

Not my cup of tea really. It's just not good business to be waiting for your car to be done and witness a n upset customer demanding them to fix the car because it wasn't done well in the first place, and have them turned away with a refusal to fix the problem. I'd be upset too. Oil changes I guess are fine, but I wouldn't come here for other services.
