Do NOT employ this company or do any business with them!!!! Our apartment building owner went into default on our building so the apt. went up for auction. The building wasn't purchased so it was now owned by Wells Fargo Bank. We were contacted by John Dandoy who said if we could vacate the apt. by 5/1/12 (this was on 4/19/12) that Real Estate Resources Group would pay us $5,600.00 for cash for keys. This meant we would have to have all of our belongings out of the apt. and have it broom swept and they would meet us on or before 5/1/12 and they would inspect the apt. then give us a check. Wanting the money and since we would have to move eventually we decided to take the deal. Mark Dandoy brought a contract to us on 4/25/12, which was signed by Laura Dandoy and we also signed it. We killed ourselves to find a new place to live, put down $3,700.00 in moving costs which was all of our savings (I was laid off so this was all we had) and had the place clean and ready for inspection on 4/30/12. We then called them on that day, 4/30/12 to let them know we were ready. 5/1/12 came and we called the Dandoys to find out when we could come get our check. We left messages, and waited and the Dandoys said they didn't have the check ready yet and we would have to wait until the next day. The next day we called and same thing, no check ready and we would get it in 5-7 days. They are clearly in breach of contract now. We wait the 7 days and on 5/10/12 at 11am the Dandoys say they have the checks, but that they have to have a "bank certified" locksmith come change the locks when we hand over the keys and receive the check. We said "Cool, we'll be here all day". 4pm comes and we don't hear anything from them. We went down to the office to find out what's going on. They just say they're waiting for the locksmith to come down and change the locks when we turn in our keys. But it's 4pm, and they close at 5pm, so John Dandoy says "...within the next 24 hours." So now it's 5/11/12. We get no calls. 3pm comes around. I ask, "How long does it take to get a locksmith to come change locks???" They didn't know. I said, "I'll wait in your office to find out." 15 minutes later they say they'll have the locksmith and "somebody" meet me at 3:30pm at the apt. to give me the check. I go to the apt. at 3:30pm, and get this: I found out that they took possession on the apt., and CHANGED THE LOCKS without the keys and without notifying us (which should be illegal if it isn't already) and NO ONE was there to meet me with the money. I had to go to their office again and raise Hell to get someone to help me and finally give me a check. This was a horrible situation that was just made into a complete nightmare by The Real Estate Resource Group owned by LAURA DANDOY and family. Please don't do any business with these people if you don't want to be put through the ringer. My husband hurt his back trying to move so quickly to meet THEIR deadline which they didn't meet themselves and the STRESS from the whole situation physically put my health in danger. I'm a diabetic and the stress made my blood sugars go through the roof! No one should have to go through this. We did get our money, but mostly by our own facilitation.
