Outstanding customer service
Todd was extremely helpful with my 2 Emerald Tree Boas that I had purchased somewhere else, giving me pointers on how to care for them and even recommending an extremely knowledgeable veterinarian who specializes in reptiles. You can not get this level of service from any chain pet store. It is definitely worth driving 20 plus miles each way for this kind of customer service.

Awesome Store
Today my girlfriend and I bought dog food at Critter Country. The owner was very helpful and even allowed us to watch the snakes eat! We are lifelong shoppers there!

Horrible management
It is convienent that someone actually compliments Todd the day i recieved the worst customer service of my life. I visited the store to get a Scottish Terrier groomed and was told by the groomer that she knew how to do the breed specific cut. HORRIBLE. She shaved the eyebrows and ear tufts, trimmed the beard short and put some kind of weird poddle cut on his tail. She admitted she messed up and the owner still refused a refund. If you are in need of grooming and expect good customer service find another pet store!

Critter Counrty and Todd are Fantastic!!
My wife and I have bought a ball python and a corn snake along with tanks and supplies to go along with them, both snakes are great eaters and very docile. Being new to the "snake world" we have made sure the phone at Critter Country has stayed ringing with our questions about temp, feeding, shedding, etc. and every time we call Todd and his staff are always so helpful with every question we ask. Its nice to go into a pet store and feel like they care about every single animal they sell and always ask how yours are doing. I bet you couldnt go into a big box pet store and have the owner say "a pinkie and a hopper? let me go get them." That is customer service! and that is why we are a customer for life.
