Concerned Home Managers for the Elderly (COHME) is a licensed, nonprofit home health care agency providing comprehensive home care for seniors in New York City since 1984. COHME's home health aides provide a wide range of health, social, and household services, according to a personalized Plan of Care designed specifically to meet each client's individual needs. Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Registered Nurses regularly monitor the quality of the care provided, and our lines of communication with our clients are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. COHME is the only private-pay home-health care agency in New York City that includes social work case management for each client at no extra cost. As a nonprofit organization, COHME's dual mission is to provide the highest quality care to our clients, as well as excellent jobs and support services for our home health aides.
