The most bizarre medical experience I ever had.
I was referred to Dr. Stuart Cohen to have a chalazion drained. I went to his office and he spent more time belittling my previous healthcare practitioners than he did on my chalazion.
I asked him if he would drain it and he said I had to make a separate appointment - which I did.
During the next appointment he completely ignored my chalazion and gave me an eye exam. I asked him (again) if he could drain my chalazion and he said I would have to make yet another appointment to have it done. I then asked him if I could have the prescription for my eyeglasses after the eye exam he gave me. He said 'no - he will do it again after yet another appointment'.
I cut my ties then and went to someone competent who immediately helped me.
Dr. Stuart Cohen was probably the worst physician I ever saw in my life and I would NEVER refer him to anyone. His personality is bizarre and his actions lead me to believe his was more concerned with milking my insurance company than helping me.
Fortunately I found someone who did help me.

Frustrating to Deal With
Being new to the area, I went to Dr. Cohen for a routine eye exam and contact lens fitting. I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and have never had a doctor give me such a run around for getting new lenses. It has been nearly two weeks, and 1. he doesn't return calls - only leaves messages for me through his secretary; 2. hasn't ordered a trial pair of the new lenses he wants me to try; 3. has told me that I HAVE to order my contacts through him for a total of $495(!), and 4. refuses to give me a prescription for the lenses he has already fitted to me.
I have never seen this level of insanity just to get contacts. I would NOT recommend going to this doctor. At this point, I'm so desperate to reorder lenses that I actually made an appointment for a fitting at Target just so I can get something.
