Really the Chelsea hotel is a Hostal. And I've stayed in a number of them, so not knocking hostals. They are awesome for budget travelers and students. I just think they should be clearer about this on the website so you are not expecting...

Horrible place to stay
This place is a dump. My door wouldnt lock. Got an attitude from them when I told them that. No air in the room and the bathroom shower wouldnt work. It was a mess. Peoples stuff thrown all over the bathroom. Dorms are better than this...
