Central Child Care provides individual child care for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age children. In addition, Central Child Care provides a summer program for ages Kindergarten to age 12. Central Child Care has a rich history in the Midway of St. Paul. Started in 1950 by twin sisters, Viola Carlson & Alberta Pearson (with continued support and involvement today), Central Child Care's mission is to provide a faith based environment where children can grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually through developmentally appropriate activities.

Infants
• 16 available capacity (2 separate rooms)
• 6 weeks to 16 months
• High adult to child ratio
• Formula and baby food provided. Parents supply diapers & supplies
• Direct line to rooms for parents to call

Toddlers
• 14 available capacity
• 16 to 33 months
• Books, art activities, science, puzzles, playground, gym & nap time
• Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack provided

Preschool
• 30 available capacity
• 33 months to 5 years old
• Project Early Kindergarten (PEK)
• Books, art activities, puzzles, playground, gym & nap time, cooking experience, science, computers, art, field trips
• Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack provided

School Age (Before School/After School & Summer)
• 26 available capacity
• Kindergarten to 12 years old
• Summer Reading Program
