BAIT and SWITCH was my experience at the Car Stereo Warehouse. After reading the reviews online regarding this organization, my husband and I decided to take our 2007 Nissan Murano to get a quote on either repairing, replacing, or updating my stereo as the radio stopped working (frequent problem with this Nissan model). We met and spoke with Asfahan Makani who advised that our stereo CANNOT be repaired or replaced (LIE). Asfahan went on to explain that the ONLY option he could offer was to UPDATE our system and provided a written quote of $575 for the entire job, which was about the same cost the Nissan Dealer was charging to replace the system. We decided to go with the upgrade Mr. Makani offered and returned the following weekend to get the work done. We presented the written quote, which Asfahan Makani co-worker accepted but wrote on the work order that any antenna needed would be an extra cost. In addition, after my husband and I went over the order with Mr. Makani and his colleague, the price went from $575 to $816 to update the stereo system. We of course questioned the reason behind the jump in price. At this point, Asfahan Makani explained he did not realize the 2007 Nissan Murano had navigation and therefore required a bigger upgrade (stereo system) than he realized. We promptly ask for the return of our vehicle (which took about 45 min. for them to return) and had the stereo REPAIRED one week later (with a one-year warranty) at another stereo shop for $325. Buyer beware… The people at Car Stereo Warehouse are WOLFS in sheep’s clothing who are more than happy to lie and cheat to get your money!

Not for the money
The Car Stereo Warehouse is pricey for the money. I felt they tried to over charge me to install a stereo in my car because I did not buy it from them.Worldwide > United States > Charlotte, NC > Car Audio - Video Systems
