sick of the bac

Downtown Location is a disappointment

I have enjoyed the BAC for Women, they have newer, well kept equipment and friendly, no pressure staff. However I have hated my experience at the downtown location. The staff is rude and very aggressive, I had over 13 calls in 4 or 5 days from one staff member. When you say you don't want to join something or try something they instantly have an attitude and then they never stop hounding you about something you already said no thanks to! I will not be going to to downtown location again but have had a very good experience at the other locations so far.

The bac will screw you! don't sign a contract with them. Whatever you do! Buyer beware! Caveat emptor!

I think all these positive reviews might be employees or pr people for the club. The clubs are dirty. The classes and teachers of the classes are the only good part. Some of the staff is great, but I noticed a high turnover so it makes me think they treat their lower level staff sub par. The sales people are pushy and annoying, the one girl was showing me equipment and when she found out I already had a prefered membership, left me at the equipment I was working on very confused.

The BAC is Convenient and Clean!

I love the Buffalo Athletic Clubs. I work in the Downtown area and most of my workouts are in the Downtown BAC. The club is great and the employees really care. When I am at home on the weekends I am able to go to the BAC that is near my house. The only thing I miss at the Williamsville BAC is that they do not have a pool. The Downtown cub is the only one with a pool. But, the clubs are really well kept and updated.

I Love the BAC Downtown

I have been a member of the BAC Downtown for over 25 years and have loved every second. They are always updating machines and the club is always very clean. The customer service is second to none! They will work hard to get you in the shape that you want!!!!!

I can't wait to renew my membership!!! I have approximately 5 months left on my existing 2 year membership at the Colvin location, and I am really a hard-sell normally, details, give me details...The staff is ALWAYS friendly and informative, anything financial that was explained to me was done so without double-talk. I think the thing I love the most, is how the staff seems to pay such attention to everyone, assisting them with a new challenge or general conversation.I suggest anyone in doubt, walk in and take a tour!!-Life Member
