Excellent Moving Experience

Big Dog Movers moved me from New Orleans, LA to Charleston, SC. They handled everything perfectly. They even provided me with a firm date of arrival and showed up as planned. All of my items(furniture/car) were transported effectively...

Excellent Job!

Had Kevin and his crew do a local move today. 100% great experience. Everything went extremely quickly and smoothly. The entire crew (all 6!) were very polite and treating treated all my furniture with the utmost care. Even dealing with some admittedly difficult exercise equipment they did a great job. Would recommend them without reservation and Big Dog will be the company I call the next time I have to move.

TERRIFIC JOB

MOVERS

This was the second time Kevin and his crew moved our office. We choose Kevin again because of the great job he did before. Kevin and his crew were very patient, kind, courteous and respectful. His prices were very competitive as well. We would definitely hire Big Dog Movers again in the future and highly recommend you do too! These guys were great!

The best movers in town

I have moved a number of times in the last few years, and each time the experience got worse. This past weekend my husband and I moved using Big Dog Movers. What a difference! Kevin and his crew were amazing -they were efficient, hard working, friendly, and courteous. I only wish I had known about Big Dog for my prior moves. They treat your possessions as if they are their own, packing and moving everything with care. I highly recommend Kevin and his crew, they are the best - Thank You Kevin and crew!

Great movers! Recommend to all family and friends!

Big Dog Movers moved me twice. Once two years ago and again just recently. They are the best! You always hear horror stories with corporate moving companies, you will NOT get that kind of service from these guys! They are local and professional. I will not consider anyone else my future moves. They are considerate, flexible, hard-working, polite! They helped us with taping up our last few boxes and were so gentle with our furniture. You Can't Get Any Better! Highly Recommend

Kevin and his crew have moved me and my family twice already, with the second time packing us up. They were all completely professional and very conscientious with our belongings...not one thing was ever broken or scratched. Great group of people, hardworking and easy to get along with. Moving back to Louisiana this summer and will not have any one else move us but Big Dog Movers.

No question, the best moving company in New Orleans

I wrote this review when we moved one year ago. We hired Kevin and his men again and they were wonderful AGAIN! I highly recommend BIG DOG MOVERS. The following was one year ago:

I've moved many times and dread the thought. When we approached the date to move, we contacted Kevin who came to the house to look things over. He is a very kind, polite gentleman immediately separating himself from others in this profession. He and his crew were incredible. Everything was packed with great care. No marks on the walls or floors (they placed cardboard on all of the floors for protection) and they were very neat. I can't say enough about them. I can't imagine that anyone would have a problem with this group.

Great Movers

Big Dog Movers were great. Kevin came out previously and met with us, went through each room taking notes, got back to us quickly with a quote - which was very reasonable. The crew was great, polite, courteous, knew what they were doing, took great care in preparing all furnture for the move, and unloading. Also, they cleaned up and unwrapped all furniture after all was moved in. Will definitely use this company again and will recommend to friends.

Best Moving Company Ever !!!!

I had them move an Armoire...7 ft 1 inches high...and 54 inches wide...SOLID Wood...They wrapped it with blankets & plastic, had a large moving truck, and all of the tools they needed. I was very impressed with their kindness and intelligence. I did not even have to try and guide them...(which I was worried about because the Armoire was so huge)...it was second nature to them and they used the utmost care...I am very happy with BIG DOG MOVERS...P.S.- They are Insured too!

Great affordable movers

Kevin and his crew went above and beyond what I hired them to do. They lifted a HUGE piece of furniture that wasn't in the original estimate. They were very careful when moving my things. I would DEFINITELY use them again.

Best Movers in the City

This was my 11th move in the past 10 years. Big Dog Movers did all the work. I had them pack all of my boxes. They were very organized carefully wrapping and labeling everything in great detail. They were also very polilte and courteous. BDM boxed and moved in a very timely manner and did not break one thing or scratch a single wall. They were extremly accomodating and efficient and I would absolutely use them again in the future and so should you!

Big Dog Movers provides Excellent Service

I have moved using professional movers six times, and I have no hesitation in recommending Big Dog Movers. I watched them move my father earlier this summer and I was so impressed that soon afterwards, I called Big Dog to move me! Professional, courteous and competent -- I could relax during the move because they knew how to take care of and handle any item -- including my antique piano. Most impressive was Kevin's beautiful assembly of my complicated semi-custom office furniture set that has 10 large pieces. I've had bad movers before -- so, I truly appreciated Big Dog's competence. Moving Made Simple

I have moved all over the US and have never had movers quite like this..... Kevin was extremely helpful and always reachable. I have a very hectic schedule and they were more than happy to work around it. He was familiar with moving in and out of Condo buildings and his staff was extremely professional and helpful. I have already recommended them to 2 people! When we move again, Big Dog Movers will be my first call!

Nicest Moving Company in Louisiana

I found Big Dog Movers right here, reading the reviews and called them right away, after trying to find someone good to move my furniture. I couldn't have asked for nicer people. Kevin and his crew went above and beyond to work with me on a time for the move. They did more than I had even asked for them to do, just to help me out. They should be named "Movers with a Heart". My furniture was moved safely and without damage, which was important to me. You should have no worries in hiring this team and you won't regret the call. I would recommend this company to anyone, anytime. Kevin, you're the BEST!!!!

Professional, Swift & Meticulous Movers

We were flooded out of our apartment and required an apartment transfer. We contacted Big Dog Movers and Kevin, the owner, came the same day to estimate the move. They were able to move us in 2 days and it took them only 2.5 hours to move our 2-bedroom apt! Kevin and his team were professional, fast and very careful with all our furniture. They were understanding and made us feel secure after a traumatic event. We will be using them again for our next move/relocation! Thank you guys so much for all your help. You made our home a new and comfortable one!
