Great Experience
I was very pleased with my experience at Bentleys. I loved the classroom instructor. The drive times were very educational and helped me to pass my test to get my license! I recommend this school to everyone!!

A++ Driving School!
My daughter recently finished her drivers education with Bentley Driving School and I couldn't be happier. The classroom was very tidy and the instructors were great! They provided real life examples in the classroom and quality instruction on the drive times. I will definitely be sending my other children to this school!

Rude and Inappropriate instructor
One of the driving instructors (12292) was rude and harsh in his feedback. For example, when my son asked him if he should turn left from the middle lane or the left lane (both of which allowed left turns) he responded saying I couldn't care less. Comments like this are demeaning and always inappropriate, especially in a teacher-student relationship. My son passed the final exam driving session, but the instructor used harsh terms and inappropriate tones and gestures to give feedback.

Lots of dramatic examples
My son has just completed the classroom portion of his driver's education at Bentley. He is my third child to go through this process. The cirriculum the schools use seems to be defined by Maryland, so the difference in schools comes down to the instructor's ability to impress the kids. My son quotes the instructor time and time again giving examples of horrible things that happened to people who didn't follow traffic rules, safety rules, common sense rules. My son passed the class and got his first driving session scheduled one day after he asked. I am VERY satisfied with Bentley and if I had more kids, I would send them there too.

Practical
Smoking? People smoke, just like people pick their noses or chew their fingernails. Give them a break. You're here to learn something, not to criticize their habits.
Speaking of learning, maybe you did learn everything from your parents (after all, they took driver's ed too). No matter how you look at it, driver's ed is basic stuff. While the facility may be sloppy, the actual coursework is more down to earth. I never touched a textbook there. It was lecture and video. This is the real world stuff. No textbook in any subject nor stiff in a white collar and sparkly office knows more than those who get down to the nitty gritty.
Driving hours? What can I say, you just drive around and practice manuevers. Of course it helps. Driving is like playing a videogame. You drive more, you get better. They take you downtown and through some of the local country roads.
They're also pretty lenient on passing you (probably because the MVA test is a cheap race course designed for 5

dirty
The school was very dirty and so was the instructor. One driver asked me for money which is a big no no. The school is very dirty and unkempt and I would not send a child there he or she might catch something

Dirty Dirty Dirty and run by very inadequate instructors
The school it self is very dirty. I am very sorry that I sent my daughter there. It is run by very inadequate instructors. They hardly go over any thing of importance (all text book) no discussion and most the time the students (who smoke) spend time outside. The outside of the building is a cigarette ash tray. The personnel are very rude and I am sure there are better places to take drivers education.

If you actually want to learn something...
Don't come to this driving school. I attended this driving school, and was very underwhelmed by the instruction here. The first half of the class consisted of reading from a textbook - i.e. doing your homework for school that you brought with you. This was followed by an hour long break where we were allowed to leave the school and go eat at the fast food places nearby. Then we came back for a final hour of instruction, which usually included videos and some discussion. The actual driving time was somewhat helpful, but I didn't learn anything there that my parents hadn't already taught me on my own.
