Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center - Maristela Batezini, MD

Dr. Maristela Batezini is the Cancer Liaison Physician for our program. She has served in this capacity since 2008 when the program first started inquiries into obtaining the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer accreditation. Dr. Batezini started at Cheyenne Oncology, Hematology and Infusion in June of 2006 when she moved here from Miami, Florida. She has seen the practice grow from sharing a multi-specialty clinic and staff to a well-recognized program with three Hematologist/Oncologists serving our region in our new Cancer Center. Dr. Batezini is originally from Brazil and did her specialty training in Miami. Her patients appreciate the fact that Dr. Batezini takes the time to answer all their questions and ensure that they are comfortable with the next steps in their treatment. She is well-loved by patients and hospital staff alike.
