we stopped in at badeaux restaurant, for mothers day, it is a family run restaurant, the owners, cook and wait staff are family.the food is fresh and tasty, all you can eat small buffet, fried shrimp, catfish, chicken gumbo, boiled shrimp, crabs, fried chicken, and a few other items, and if you like soft shell crabs, they are thumbs up, it is a good bargin for your money, my mother wanted whole fried catfish, so i called ahead, and they caught it the day before, her plate was 3 piece of 1/2 of a catfish each, my mother said, it was so filling and tasty and sweet, the meat of the fish by the bones. the service is great and friendly, bathroom are clean, and plenty of parking.. so if you want a good home style family restaurant, then badeaux,s is the place to go.
