I would NEVER hire ASPLUNDH tree service to trim trees or anything else. I did not hire this company our utility co here in Bryan however did. They mutilated and butchered trees on Cole Lane in Bryan, Texas. I don't call what they did trimming? What they did on my fence line is disgraceful. They stripped limbs off trees that had been there for at least 30 years. They showed no respect for the trees, the owners, nor the property. If my daughter had not been going out that Saturday morning they would have done the same to a landmark 200 year old Oak tree. Yes the utility co came out and oh they are so sorry, but you know for the safety of fires etc it has to be done. WHAT THERE ISN'T ANOTHER WAY TO CLEAR LIMBS FROM TOUCHING THE LINES!!! The really bad part is one of the trees they cut EVERY limb off on one side leaving it BARE. You can't tell me that was necessary nor was it a smart decision. I feel like they have no respect or care it is just a job so they mow down, they butcher, mutilate all the trees who cares. I dont think they care about 100 & 200 year old trees. If you don't believe me drive down Cole lane see the job they can do for you! In my opinion I wish our utility co had showed more respect for their community than to hire this co. Please if you go online and read all the reviews it will sadden you. Does our utility co not check out these companies or do they not care either. MY RECOMENDATION would be to run as fast as you can away and hire someone else. I had no choice in the matter. If your utility co considered hiring a tree service I hope they do some checking and go another way. It would not let me leave the rating blank so one star shows, however I give them at least a minus 2 *.
