I was so impressed when i went to this pet shop, nice people that run it, knowledgable about every product.. feeder selections are better then I've seen anywhere!!! different feeders that you can't find anywhere else! A family run...

Family mom n pop fish shop!!

Animal island is the best store!! Everytime I go there, not only do they have a great selection of fish, but their staff always makes me laugh and feel appreciated, even if I'm only spending a couple bucks on fish food!! They're a family...

Go no where else!

Visited the pet shop for the first time today....workers were very polite and have great knowledge of their jobs. The selection was outstanding! I have a new shop to enjoy! Highly recommended!

One of th best fish shops in Chicagoland

Awesome selection of cichlids and other freshwater fish, best I have seen in Chicago except maybe Scott's in Westchester. Decent prices and good product selection as well.

Amazing petshop

Animal island by far my number on choice for all my future pets and pet food. The owner is absoultly amazing and knows his stuff he's helped me with so many of my animals and always has the answers to all my questions. They have the best...

Animal island (of death)

The owner of the shop seems to have not care about the reptiles or mammals he keeps. The cages are filty, and 1/3 of the animals are sick. Also, the owner refuses to issue refunds for the sick animals he sells.
