Presents company as a moving company, but really a broker that works usually with Dolphin Movers

I used Agosti and found the owner to be very personable and very professional. He came in with stacks of positive feedback reviews. He said that his movers did not have a single complaint regarding his service with the local chapter of the b business bureau. It sounded great.



I should have known.



The cost he came up with was a bit higher than his competitors. But I had asked him to make sure that he wouldn't go over. That I wanted a good figure, even if it was a little higher. He assured me at the time that his weight was almost always dead on. And his weight was a good 15 percent higher than any other bid.



Based on his assurances and the way he presented himself and his company, I decided to go the expensive route and work with this company.



My first hint that things were not on the up and up came when he called the night before and assured me that although the trucks that were going to show up had a different company's name on them, that it was because he just bought the trucks and didn't have time to repaint them. (too busy)



But talking with the workers, the head guys were part of Dolphin Movers and that Agosti was a broker that sent a lot of business their way.



In the end, the load showed up at my house, the weight was 10 percent higher than he estimated and I knew I was being had when the mover taking my money had a look on his face that said, I can't believe this guy is paying this much for the move.



In short, Mr. Agosti is a great salesman. And aside from the lies and cost, the move did work out well. I recommend that you skip Agosti and go straight to Dolphin Movers, the company that actually did the move. Great guys. And I bet you would get a better price.



Oh and for Agosti's claim that he has no better business claims? Well since he isn't a mover, he can refer most claims to the mover he subcontracts out. Thus the claim doesn't hold water under examination.
