Looking for new opportunities, father and son duo Brad and Adam Butler joined forces in 1996 to experiment with erecting barns, fences and small metal buildings for the growing agricultural and equestrian markets of Phoenix, Arizona. Although their beginning was humble, the demand for quality erectors was not! On October 8, 1997, A Shade Above, Inc. was established and since has exemplified quality erections in thousands of pre-engineered metal buildings. Expanding in 1998 to residential and commercial metal buildings, A Shade Above, Inc. now erects some of the largest pre-engineered metal buildings in the Southwest, including 100,000 square feet plus industrial buildings and prisons. Retiring in April of 2011, Brad frequents the office in which he led for many years. His perceptive understanding of what it took to get a job done, lead A Shade Above, Inc. into what it is today. Nevertheless, his sociable mannerisms lead to a magnitude of business/personal relationships that will carry from his working days into retirement.
